Housing Alert: May 5, 2008
MS&T has learned a company called Convention Expo Travel is contacting exhibitors claiming to assist with hotel reservations in Pittsburgh for MS&T'08. MS&T DOES NOT have a contract with this company to manage hotel reservations in Pittsburgh. MS&T HAS contracted the Pittsburgh Housing Bureau to manage hotel reservations, and MS&T housing will open on June 1. At that time, the official MS&T hotel reservation form and link with instructions on how to make your hotel reservation in Pittsburgh will be posted on this Web site. MS&T has contracted with multiple hotels in Pittsburgh with sufficient room blocks to accommodate all of our attendees and exhibitors at special MS&T convention rates.
Should you be contacted by Convention Expo Travel, MS&T strongly recommends you DO NOT make your Pittsburgh hotel reservation through that company. If you have already made hotel reservations through Convention Expo Travel, MS&T is unable to guarantee the reservation is valid. Should you have any questions, please e-mail Bill Padnos or telephone (724) 776-9000, ext.225.
