The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) is an international membership society focusing on engineered ceramic and glass materials and applications, and a leading source of information about ceramic and glass technologies. ACerS serves 10,000 members and students from more than 70 countries. Founded in 1898, the Society is headquartered in Westerville, Ohio.

The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) is a non-profit entity with over 17,500 members from more than 70 countries. AIST is recognized as a global leader in networking, education and sustainability programs for advancing iron and steel technology. The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) is a member-driven international professional society dedicated to fostering the exchange of learning and ideas across the entire range of minerals, metals, and materials science and engineering, from minerals processing and primary metals production, to basic research and the advanced applications of materials. Included among its more than 12,000 professional and student members are metallurgical and materials engineers, scientists, researchers, educators, and administrators from more than 80 countries on six continents.
